This report is based on the request form of Niroo Research Institute (NRI) for providing a detailed research program in the field of Design and fabrication of a solar compound parabolic chemical reactor for hydrogen production . For this purpose, a summary of previous studies in of the subject in Iran and the other countries is presented. Also, the consistency of this research with the comprehensive research program of the country has been addressed. Finally, a five-year research design plan in the field of Design and fabrication of a solar compound parabolic chemical reactor for hydrogen production is represented. This program contains a five year road map and a one year road map. The activities which are considered in a five year road map are: 1- Design and fabrication of a solar compound parabolic collector 2- Compare the performance of a solar compound parabolic collector with simple parabolic collector. 3- Changing of the construction collector components 4- Design of temperature control system for the fabricated collector 5- Scale up. The final purpose of the above five activities is to find the technical knowledge of designing of an industrial scale of solar compound parabolic collector for hydrogen production. The activities planned for the one-year comprehensive plan include: 1- Literature review 2- Design of a compound parabolic collector 3- Fabrication of the designed collector 4- Physical evaluation of the fabricated system 5- Chemical evaluation of the system for hydrogen production 6- Modeling and simulation of the system.‎
